The Book
UFOs, PSI and Spiritual Evolution (referred to as The Book) is the first and only book to explain the modes of travel of UFOs, So Far As I Know (or SFAIK). Status SFAIK is now on.
When Ufos are cruising low and slow over the landscape, in complete silence, they are using levitation. When Ufos abruptly appear or disappear, they are using teleportation. I am surprised everyone doesn’t know this. I think I knew this when I was about 5.
The logic is very simple. The motion of UFOs resembles levitation and teleportation. UFOs don’t make noise like the planes and rockets of technology. And they don’t look like rockets. Technology has come to the end of its rope, and will never take us to Mars, much less distant stars hundreds of light-years away.
Levitation and teleportation are powers of the mind proven to exist by psychical research. They have been familiar in popular culture for thousands of years. These are phenomena we know to exist, which cannot be said for electro-gravitics and other crackpot physics like wormholes.
When an object is levitated, no sound is made, and no effort is made. I use the term “levitation” for most kinds of PK. If an object is lifted and moved or just scoots across the table, this is all “levitation.” I prefer it because it is in the common vocabulary. Everyone knows what you mean if you say “levitation,” or “teleportation.” Teleportation is the instantaneous and effortless change of coordinates of an object from X to Y. It could easily be from inside a closed box to the inside of another closed box, because a teleported object does not pass through the intermediate space and time. It has no velocity ([X - Y]/time of travel), and consumes no energy (Mass * Velocity squared/2). This is not true of Faster-Than-Light travel (FTL), such as Warp Nine from Star-Trek.
Sciences have the right to invent new terms (such as “HSP”) when there is no common term for the same phenomenon. Humanoid is another made up word.
In any case, FTL is too slow. Light speed is too slow. There are (see The Book) all sorts of reasons for thinking FTL to be impossible such as Einsteinian Relativity. And that is not the worst of it. We cannot go faster than one-tenth the speed of light by adding more propellant. It is a law of vanishing returns. And it gets worse! Space travel from planet to planet in the Solar System is impossible because of cosmic rays. No simple shield will protect us from cosmic rays, which are the nuclei of heavy elements accelerated by unknown processes, sometimes to greater energies than can be attained by human particle accelerators. Let us think 99.9999..% of the speed of light (C), where the only variable is how many figures past the decimal places. The number above is known as “4 nines.” If a uranium nucleus traveling at 4 nines hit you in the head, you would be dead. A light shielding of aluminum would only stop the slow particles and they wouldn’t hurt you anyway. I claim that human travel even to Mars appears to be impossible by technology. But don’t forget condition AFAIK. I am only repeating what I have read in scientific journals, and scientists do not always agree. Still, agreement is not proof.
Technology isn’t everything. Those scholars who only know technology or only believe in technology don’t know much. We have been on a technology kick for a few centuries, and it is coming to an end. We will have no more passenger planes that travel faster than the speed of sound. We will have no communication on earth faster than the speed of light. I always thought that the refusal of Congress to fund SST was a significant point in time, a bending in time away from technology. The refusal of Congress to build the Super Conducting Super Collider(SCSC) in the plains of Texas was another significant turning point, or ending point for technology. About half the tunnel is still there. Not everything can be done by technology. There will be change, but will it be progress? An infinity of things yet unimagined can be done by the mostly unknown powers of the mind. The potential is already there, in the unconscious mind.
Thus, Ufos must travel by the powers of mind. There is no known alternative. Technology can never exceed one-tenth light speed, and there are a great many difficulties with that. What about cosmic rays? Cosmic rays must not be confused with the solar wind, which is mostly electrons and protons, at low energies compared to cosmic rays. So the magnetic field can easily protect us from the solar wind. It does nothing about cosmic rays, which are the nuclei of heavy elements, like gold or uranium, accelerated to 99.999..% of the speed of light. Being hit by one of those would kill you instantly. Our protection against them is our atmosphere. But we couldn’t carry an atmosphere around us on a trip to Mars. I conclude that both interplanetary and interstellar travel by humans is impossible. If the cosmic rays didn’t get you, the years of weightlessness would. In any case, you would go crazy in the cramped and sterile quarters.
We know from the Chinese studies that teleportation is real, and can be done in bright light, under the observation of scientists. See the chapter “The Chinese Studies” in the Book.) If you find the right subjects and create a comfortable and encouraging psychological atmosphere, it looks easy. It looks like fun. Of course, these girls are not teleporting themselves. In one case, it is cigarettes, and in another case, it is flower buds. No elaborate apparatus is required. It was a shoebox for the cigarettes, and cups covered by saucers for the flower buds. Sure, illusionists do similar things, but it takes long training, practice, and some expensive equipment. And the only tricks that can be done close up are simple tricks with cards and coins.
If you want to develop levitation, I recommend the Batcheldor technique. Google him. Again, the existence of levitation by humans is absolutely proven.
Why doesn’t everybody know this? Why doesn’t everybody believe this? This is a great intellectual breakthrough, a turning point in time.
We are so thoroughly indoctrinated with the worldview of technology that it is impossible to consider anything else. Yet, in choosing a technological route to interplanetary and interstellar travel, we are picking a very hard route, one that looks impossible at this point. By contrast, teleportation and levitation are effortless and easy, for those who can do them.
“For those who can do them.” Aye, there’s the rub. Why aren’t we all born with such abilities? My theory is that we haven’t reached a sufficient level of spiritual evolution. This is why there are no star wars. This is the answer to Fermi’s Paradox. The visiting humanoids in their variety of crafts carry no weapons and do no harm. It would be as contrary to their character as it would for an angel, if there were such a thing.
The Book is mostly about spiritual evolution, since that is the path we must follow to equal the spiritual level of of our humanoid visitors. Maybe that is not what readers expect. I could tell you a lot about Ufos, but why don’t you just read The Humanoids? It is free, and accessible in the right column of this web page. I could talk at great length about physics and space technology, but what is the point? I have already proven it to be irrelevant.
Still, there is an important subtext one could read without believing in Ufos. That is the Forbidden Sciences. You won’t find these in very many universities. Yet, they are absolutely necessary to complete the mission of mankind. Without them, science is cold, materialistic and reductionist, and no one will accept it for long. If science cannot include the forbidden sciences, I give it 2 or 3 centuries. Ancient Greek rationality (mostly math) disappeared for the same reasons. I happen to enjoy the sciences. Most of my reading for pleasure consists in science books. But science will never last unless the philosophical mission is complete. Other people started the forbidden sciences; I have added to them. That is what real philosophers do. The others are logicians of formal or informal logic, but that is not the path of the greatest philosophers, such as Euclid, Galileo, Darwin, William James, C. G. Jung, or Arnold Toynbee.
Ultimately, we come to the hardest and most significant subject, empirical metaphysics. Here we will dwell on things that seem far removed from UFOs or star-travel. Yet this is the most important part of the book and the solution to Fermi’s Paradox.
Enrico Fermi was a great Italian scientist, who built the first working “pile” or sustained and controlled nuclear reaction, under the stadium at the U. of Chicago. This showed scientists that “the manhattan project” would work. About 1950 the discussion turned to UFOs, and Fermi innocently said, “If ETs are at all common, where are they?” The other scientists knew what he meant. Earth has had an atmosphere of neutral nitrogen and about 22% oxygen for a billion and a half years. We have also had oceans, a tremendous amount of water. Finally, we have had dry land, because of the incessant action of plate tectonics. It is an ideal habitat for ETs like us, who are air-breathing and bipedal. If we came across such a planet, we would colonize it. Surely over the vast span of 1.5 billion years, ETs would have come across Earth, if there are any ETs, and if star travel is possible at all, even slow star travel. Are we alone in the universe? Is star travel impossible? There is no scientific evidence of colonization by ETs. There is evidence for visitation, even in the Bible, and in Egyptian histories, and even in Ice Age carvings and paintings. But no colonization. Why not? That is the central pole of this book, the one that ties everything else together.
Unfortunately, there are few people who are interested in physics, psi phemenona, Toynbeean history, utopian analysis and empirical analysis. And if there are, they are probably ignored as crackpots. Maybe that is my fate as well. That is why the book has only sold 177 copies. That is maybe the number of people with really wide interests, and an openness to new ideas. I guess one can either write the truth or write what people want to hear. But don’t you want to know how to go to the stars?
We wouldn’t know that without the book The Humanoids. This is another one of those great classics…alas, one virtually unknown even in Ufology. It is a collection of encounters of citizens with landed UFOs and their occupants, all of which turn out to be humanoids, in all sizes and colors. Thus the title of the book. In such encounters we can easily rule out the usual explanations, such as Venus, secret military aircraft, swamp gas and pranks by college kids with ultra-lights (not invented in 1947 anyway).
One of my favorites is the encounter by Professor Johannis with a bright red saucer with small green occupants, one of which paralyzed the Professor with a gas and took his ice pick. This all happened in late July, 1947, only a few weeks after Roswell. These looked nothing like the small gray humanoids of Roswell. They were about 4 feet tall, had an earthy greenish color (not bright green) and they wore brightly colored coveralls, dark blue in color, with cuffs that were bright red. Their eyes seem to bulge and were a lighter greenish color.
The location is the province of Friuli, in farthest NW Italy. There are high mountain valleys and interesting places for hiking that did not require mountain climbing gear. Professor Johannis is well known as an author in Europe. He said nothing about this experience to anyone for several years. In 1947, the Kenneth Arnold encounter and Roswell had not been published in Europe. So he had heard nothing about flying saucers. This one had flown itself into a layer of soft rock. It was still under observation by the Professor, as it flew away, though he had been knocked to the ground by the paralysis. The red disk flew out rapidly, with boulders flying, but no damage to the disk. It flew very fast horizontally and vanished in the distance.
So, the proof that we are being visited by hundreds of species of star-traveling humanoids is out there. Curiously, this book is virtually unknown. It forms part of the foundation of our knowledge about star travel. And it answers Fermi’s paradox. Where are they? Everywhere! Everywhere that is lightly inhabited, at least. Thus, star travel is possible, but these visiting humanoids have never colonized Earth. Why not? Is it forbidden by the Prime Directive as in Star Trek? Probably. It is also unlikely that a primitive, brutal, greedy, violent species such as our own is capable of developing higher powers. The Yogis have always taught that only the enlightened ones can develop higher powers, though I don’t think these include star travel.
It is my hypothesis that only when an entire species/civilization has advanced spiritually beyond greed and violence, war and rape that there is any possibility of working on higher powers like levitation and teleportation. Those who have the power were born with it, probably because of their spiritual evolution in previous lifetimes.
First, we must have a science of spiritual evolution and higher powers, so we will know what is possible, what is important, and thus advance ourselves a little bit in each lifetime. (Reincarnation has been scientifically proven to exist by Professor Stevenson and his colleagues in the SPR.)
The fathers or grandfathers of the science of Spiritual Evolution are William James and C. G. Jung. Until now, no one had put the two together and shown that we can add to our knowledge in this field both by Cosmic Consciousness (See Richard Bucke), and by symbolic revelations from the depths of self. Bucke is quite famous, but my brief analysis of cosmic consciousness is better. It is to be found in the chapter on the meaning of life. I experienced Cosmic Consciousness when I was about 30, and frequently enjoyed the simpler pleasures of the minor mystical states, growing up, in solitude, on the prairie of the south plains. I am sure Bucke experienced it too, but he doesn’t explain it at all. He doesn’t show what we can learn from it. His entire book is just a listing of people who have also experienced it.
Knowing the power of symbolic messages from the depths of Self, as studied by Jung, when I came across the Word of One about 1975, I immediately recognized it as a great treasure, far more important than moldy old mythologies like the bible. However, you have to learn the language of symbolism to make any sense out of it, and very few people other than Jung and Joseph Campbell did understand the language of symbolism. I spent 7 years studying the message of ONE, especially the 22 Books of ONE, each describing the major arcana of a new tarot.
Along the way, I discovered that one could make a universal dictionary of symbolic elements, like “blue”, “two”, “snake” and similar things. This dictionary is based on the rule that it is what is unusual or unique about a thing that provides its symbolic meaning. Secondly, the same symbolic element must mean the same wherever it is found.
The symbolic elements can be put together in any way possible, creating things that have never become reality on Earth. So I have given mankind a hand up, a primer to get us started in learning Jungian symbolism.
The last subject in the book, last and greatest, last and most difficult is ONE, which we may cautiously identify with the totality of souls. Everything that is conscious has a soul, and the soul is the basis of all consciousness. Mystics know that everything seen and unseen is consciousness, including animals, angels and demons, and sentient creatures like ourselves. It is like an ocean, and we are individual droplets of sea-spray.
What we call nature consists in the contents of consciousness and the various mythologies we invent to give permanent reality to those things. Nothing of the contents of consciousness is truly real or lasting. It is the ONE that holds those elements that appear in our field of experience — only the ONE that is immortal, and thus, so are we. But the ONE should not be thought of as like god, allah, yahweh, or vishnu. These are the mythological inventions of mankind. Mankind requires stories which account for everything. The gods of the ancient world, still followed today, do not exist. They are just myths, and cannot directly control the things that happen. The bible is a book of myths, as are the Iliad and the Bhagavagita.
